Chapter Chair, Prof Risaburo Sato, received the certificate.
Sendai chapter was very lucky to gain "Chapter of the Year Award" at the 2003 IEEE EMC Symposium (Boston) last August. At the Award Luncheon, our Chapter Chair Prof. Sato received the award with great pleasure and honor (Photo). Sendai chapter was formed in 2001 and consists of 33 members. We hold a couple of regular and technical meetings every year. The current main target in our activities is to make a successful start of the symposium, EMC'04 / Sendai (http://www.ieice.org/emc04/). We sincerely hope that many people will come to Sendai next June to share their academic and technical knowledge and to enjoy natural environments in various historic places.
