About Establishment

The number of IEEE Magnetics Society members in IEEE Sendai Section exceeds 30 persons in Miyagi, Iwate, Akita, Fukushima, and Aomori, which is one of the most active Societies. The petition of chapter forming was applied to IEEE in 2005 with 21 undersigned members. IEEE Sendai Section Magnetics Society Chapter was officially formed at May 27, 2005.
